How to Make Love Like a Porn Star by Jenna Jameson

Well here we go… this month’s book is a cautionary tale wrote by none other than Jenna Jameson. So what made us vote on this book? Was it that our last few attempts to have a “climatic” book has failed? i.e. The MasterBedroom… or is it just that this book has received such rave reviews that we has to see what the fuss was all about?
The only thing that I know is why I choose to put this book as one of my picks… (and too vote for it as well)… I’m intrigued. So I have started reading the book- as I know so many of you have as well and I have to say- I’m still intrigued. Reading this book has also increased my workout… I set the bike timer for 20 minutes and 40 minutes later I realized I was still peddling even after the timer went off. Every day I find myself picking up the book even if I only have 5 minutes (And sometimes even less) just to read that next paragraph… so I can say- ‘no’… ’she didn’t'… ‘omg’ .. and even laugh a little. (Come on- the outfit choices are rather comical)
So ladies- speak up! Let’s get this blog going… This is a book that you have to have something to say about!!!

I’m almost done. It’s a fast read, but that might be due to all the photots. I stand by it being an incredibly embarrassing book to take on an airplane. But it will be worth it just to see what Jill comes up with for discussion!

I realized this month I read a lot while I eat breakfast or lunch, I had a couple of meals that were abandoned. I could have lived a little longer not knowing what a “pop shot” is, and I definitely would rather not have read about it over lunch! I finished, looking forward to the discussion!

I am SOOOO excited about the bookclub this month!! The book is rocking along… I actually caught myself reading it anytime I had a minute free… which isn’t a bad thing until your name is Yelled 5x’s just to get your attention! LOL!! Looking forward to seeing everyone at Sunset Club…. will you be there??

GIRLS!! So I want to hear from those of you who are being quiet on the blog… are you reading? Did you read it? Are you too nervous to pick it up? lol… I can’t wait to see everyone!
I actually had a couple of other people pick this book up after they either 1. saw me reading it or 2 asked me what our club was reading this month and I gave them this description:
You sit there and you are reading then all of a sudden you are like ..”WHAT??!!, No, OMG!!, she did what? THat happened?, HOW??? ”
such small little words apparently hold power!

Yes…still reading. It’s not one I can’t put down but it is entertaining in a strangely perverse way. Looking forward to the meeting. Who’s coming dressed as Jenna Jameson…or maybe I should say, not dressed as Jenna Jameson? I’m with you Sondra on being educated in certain topics that I could definitely do without!
